Sodium Lactate+sodium Chloride+potassium Chloride+calcium Chloride should be used with caution in patients with impaired glucose tolerance as it may worsen hyperglycaemia (high blood sugar levels). Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised.

The risk for hyponatremia is increased in elderly, paediatric patients, postoperative patients and patients taking drugs which may increase the risk of hyponatremia. Close clinical monitoring in such patients is advised.
